This May half-term, LEGOLAND Discovery Centres in Manchester and Birmingham are celebrating the legendary work of the UK’s emergency service teams with some exciting activities and a discounted entry fee of just £9.99 for blue cardholders.

 

LEGO Legends

From May 21st to June 5th, lovers of LEGO will be able to enjoy themed challenges throughout the Legoland Discovery Centre attractions in honour of the emergency services. Activities on offer include a hero build competition, where visitors will be challenged to construct an emergency service-related build with winners being announced throughout the day!

LEGO Legends Half-Term Activities Include:

⭐ Helicopter rescue – Build a helicopter and race it down the zip wire
⭐ Hero build competition – What will you build? A lifeboat? A nurse? Maybe a fire engine!
⭐ Join the Firefighter mascot for a pop-up dance party
⭐ Play Bingo Legends! Get a full house and win a prize!
⭐ Meet and greet with the awesome LEGO hero characters from LEGO City

To thank the amazing work carried out by the emergency services, Blue Light Cardholders will be allowed entry to the centre across the entire week for just £9.99 – Admission usually starts at the standard price of £21.95 per adult and £16.95 per child.

Create an Emergency Vehicle

LEGO builders can put their skills to the test by creating an emergency vehicle which they’ll then send whizzing along a zipwire!

Teams at the Manchester and Birmingham attractions will also be encouraging visitors to build a rainbow and add it to a thank you table to create a giant visual of the city’s appreciation towards the emergency services.

 

Meet LEGO Heroes

Big heroes will also be on-site, as the LEGO hero mascots will be joining guests throughout the attraction for a pop-up dance party and little ones will be able to meet and greet the hero characters from LEGO city itself!

 

4D Hero Movies

Both, LEGOLAND Discovery Centres’ 4D cinemas will be showing a LEGO city short film – An Officer in Pursuit – in celebration of the week-long event.

 

Scavenger Hunts

Report for duty and embark on a scavenger hunt throughout MINILAND, as mini heroes have been scattered throughout the mini-LEGO cities and need rescuing.

 

Celebrate our Front Line Heros
