Who Is Eligible?
You’re eligible for the £1 ticket if you’ve received Universal Credit within the last month. Importantly, this offer also applies if you receive related benefits such as:
- Working Tax Credit
- Child Tax Credit
- Income Support
- Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)
- Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
- Housing Benefit
- Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
A maximum of six tickets can be purchased per eligible household for a single day visit.
When visiting, you’ll need to bring:
- Proof of benefit eligibility
- Photo ID (or alternative proof of identity for very young children)

Tickets are limited and must be booked online in advance through the official Chester Zoo booking page.
Please note these Chester Zoo Universal Credit Tickets are not available at the gate.
