Self-drive Kart racing

During the 2017 season at Flamingo Land Resort, you will be able to experience the thrills of self-drive kart racing over a 300-metre circuit. The race track will feature a figure-of-eight format. The majority of the circuit will be outdoors with a section passing through the new entertainment centre allowing spectators to watch from a dedicated viewing area. Drivers can enjoy side-by-side racing over three individual lanes.

 

New Entertainment Centre

The new entertainment centre is a two-storey complex. The complex will feature a fish and chip restaurant, cafe and food and retail outlets. Accessed by a new electric monorail there will also be arcades and a soft play area.

 

Electric Monorail

Flamingo Land New Attractions for 2017 include an all-new electric monorail. This new addition will replace the People Mover which transported guests from Seaside Adventure to Muddy Duck Farm. The new electric monorail carriages will benefit from air-conditioning and video screens. The new electric monorail will offer visitors a view of the Theme Park and Zoo from a treetop perspective. Take the weight off your feet whilst enjoying superb views of Splish Splash, Flip Flop and much more.

 

Additions to Flamingo Land Zoo

The Selous Black Rhino Reserve will be welcoming the arrival of a new male black rhino, Baringo. Having travelled across Europe, this Rhino is part of a European breeding programme, aimed at conserving this critically endangered species. Baringo will join the three existing female residents, Samira, Olmoti and Chanua. Flamingo Land is the only animal collection in the UK to have both black and white rhinos. Guests can also enjoy the new rainbow lorikeet aviary walkthrough. One of the most exciting new additions is the first baby of 2017 a female Rothschild giraffe.
