Merlin’s Magic Wand is a children’s charity that supports children facing challenges of serious illness, disability or adversity around the world. The Charity makes fun accessible to children with three Magic Spells. About Merlins Magic Wand

Merlin Entertainments Children’s charity, Merlin’s Magic Wand believes that every child deserves to laugh, enjoy and cherish memorable experiences. It is their mission to enable children facing challenges of serious illness, disability or adversity to access the magic of Merlin Entertainments. Since Merlin’s Magic Wand was formed over 10 years ago, they have helped nearly 500,000 children and their families to have magical days out.

 

Magic Spells

The Charity makes FUN accessible to children with three Magic Spells:

 

1 – Magical Days Out

Merlin’s Magic Wand Charity provides tickets and funds travel grants to families to enjoy their day at a Merlin Entertainments attractions, such as LEGOLAND Resort Theme Parks, SEA LIFE Centres, and Madame Tussauds. On our magical days out, families have a chance to create long-lasting memories and take valuable time out from their stressful daily routine.

 

2 – Merlin’s Magic Spaces

Merlin’s Magic Wand supports seriously ill, disabled and disadvantaged children by supplying tickets and travel grants to enable them to visit their attractions. However, some children are faced with conditions and circumstances that prevent them from making the trip. This is why they also invest in Merlin’s Magic Spaces, a local outreach project designed to ensure that local children who are prevented from visiting Merlin’s attractions due to severe illness, physical disability or other exceptional circumstances still have the opportunity to experience the unique magic of Merlin. Merlin’s Magic Spaces is about designing and creating amazing projects in hospitals, orphanages, learning Centres and more all around the world.

Working with local communities at hospitals and hospices to bring the magic to the children wherever they are.
