Winter at Flamingo Land
There are loads to see and do at Flamingo Land during their winter weekends! You can visit their award-winning zoo and watch the included sea lion shows. There are plenty of options available for refreshments. The Muddy Duck Cafe opens from 10am for a selection of cakes, traybakes, sandwiches, toasties & hot and cold beverages. There is also a full menu of Pub Classics from Burgers to Fish & Chips, Lasagnas, children’s meals and Seasonal Specials at the Coach House Country Pub including a delicious homemade Sunday Roast (Sundays only).
There are around 140 species in their animal collection, including Cheetahs and rhinos. Plus, there are loads of fantastic activities including Peter Rabbits playground, treetop walkway, lemur, wallaby & lorikeet walkthroughs and loads more!
Even though the main theme park is closed, there is a selection of younger children’s rides and attractions they can enjoy too.
The Christmas Experience
This voucher includes access to the Zoo and playgrounds but does not include the “Christmas Experience” which can be purchased as an additional item on the Flamingo Land website for £15 per person. Travelling to Flamingo Land Resort
Flamingo Land Resort in Yorkshire is situated off the A169 Malton to Pickering Road. The Theme Park offers free parking for guests arriving by car. They have their own on-site Holiday Village and there are a number of ways you can get to the attraction. There is also lots of accommodation available nearby.
Travelling by Train
The nearest railway station is at Malton. You can also get the train to York and catch the Yorkshire Coastliner, (tel 01653 692 556 or 0113 244 8976) from York railway station, which drops off at Flamingo Land. Search for your train tickets using Raileasy.
Travelling by Coach
The National Express drops off at York (tel 08717 818181) and from York, you can catch the Yorkshire Coastliner, (tel 01653 692 556 or 0113 244 8976).
Nearby Accommodation
There are lots of places to stay in Yorkshire. Flamingoland is surrounded by beautiful Yorkshire countryside and is less than an hour from York.
