The Heritage Open Days 2018 will take place on the weekends of 6th-9th September and 13th-16th September 2018. Choose from historic houses, castles and gardens across the UK. Celebrate England’s History
40,000 volunteers across England organise 5,000 events every September to celebrate our fantastic history, architecture and culture. This gives everyone an opportunity to try out new experiences and see hidden places. For two weekends only all of these attractions are free to explore. Attractions include English Heritage sites, National Trust properties and much more that are not normally open to the public. You can join a tour, event or simply gain free access to a normally paid-for attraction.
