The Gruffalo Discovery Land
Inspired by the bestselling children’s book, guests can pay a visit to The Gruffalo Discovery Land, a four-acre land that brings together the much-loved characters from The Gruffalo.
The aim of this ground-breaking experience is to inspire more children than ever before about the importance of conservation and the natural world. With real-life animals, animatronics, film clips and much more, visitors to The Gruffalo Discovery Land at Twycross Zoo can encounter Fox, Owl, Snake, Mouse and the Gruffalo along their interactive journey through the deep, dark wood.

•Repeat visits must be booked online in advance
•Repeat visits are subject to availability and not guaranteed. Twycross Zoo reserves the right to close for up to 5 days in any calendar year.
•Visitors with special needs may admit one accompanying carer free of charge when they pay adult or child price only. Additional carers are required to purchase an individual Annual Ticket. Please bring relevant proof of entitlement such as a blue badge or a personal independence payments letter (issued by the DWP benefit office). Evidence of eligibility will be requested at the point of admission.

Childrens Play Areas
Children can burn off their excess energy in the indoor soft play area and outdoor play areas. There is also a huge Wet & Wild water play area – so don’t forget a towel!

Travelling to Twycross Zoo
Twycross Zoo is located near Birmingham on the A444, which can be accessed via the A5 and the M42 junction 11. Use the postcode CV9 3PX or follow the brown tourist signs. Free parking is available on site.

There are lots of places to stay near the zoo. If you would like to explore some of the other attractions in the area then take a look at the self-catering cottages available from Snaptrip.
