Multiple Play Zones
Adventure Valley is made up of both indoor and outdoor play zones, so there is always plenty on offer to keep the children entertained whatever the weather.

Adventure Playgrounds
Adventure Valley has numerous playgrounds spread throughout the park! The playgrounds are themed as pirate ships, forts and everything in between helping to encourage imaginative play whilst also keeping the kids entertained!

Tractor Rides
Included in your admission is a fun tractor ride which will take you outside the park boundries down to the river Wear where you can get some amazing views of the beautiful countryside that surrounds the park.

One of the most thrilling attractions at Adventure Valley is Runaway Races. Offerring great fun for all the family grab a tube and race each other down the valley.
The Farmyard
At the farmyard you will discover all your favourite animals with petting and feeding sessions held at various times throughout the day.

Bertie – The World’s Fastest Tortoise
Adventure Valley is home to Bertie the Tortoise, the World’s Fastest Tortoise who has also starred on Britain’s Got Talent. As well as dazzling millions of viewers with his speed, he officially entered the Guinness World Records in 2014.
Creature Corner
Get up close to slithering snakes, geckos, bearded dragons and spiders at creature corner. These fantastic reptiles and creepy crawlies really are a sight to behold!

Indoor Play
Inside is Play Town, an 18,000 square feet multi-tiered indoor soft play area featuring slides, tunnels, scramble nets and more. Also indoors is the Wild West Play Town and Cannon Saloon where its a full on western shootout using kid safe soft foam balls.

Food and Drink
Located adjacent to Play Town in the indoor section of the park is Café Italia which offers a wide range of home cooked food from delicious pizzas to jacket potatoes. It is the ideal place to grab a bite to eat while your kids enjoy the soft play.
Travelling to Adventure Valley
Adventure Island is located on the outskirts of Durham, there are a number of ways to get to the attraction. If you are travelling by car, use the postcode DH1 5SA.
Travelling by Train
The nearest railway station to Adventure Valley is Durham. It is a 10 minute taxi ride from the station to the attraction.
