Long John Silver’s Storeroom
Long John’s collection of critters have escaped the ship’s hold! Are you brave enough to come face to face with some of the inhabitants who have taken up residence in the wreckage of the Hispaniola? With tarantulas, scorpions, snakes and rats, only the bravest buccaneers dare venture here!
Sunken Hold
Venture to the heart of the Hispaniola where you will find open-top tanks that house some of the aquarium’s most popular sea creatures including a baby shark nursery, cute clown fish nursery and an amazing octopus. Be sure to watch out for the Pirates in the roof or they may snatch your gold!
Aqua Theatre
Enjoy the best views in the aquarium at the Aqua Theatre where you will Come face-to-fin with some fascinating creatures including the star of the show, Nudge the zebra shark. See if you can spot the black tip reef sharks, red emperor snappers, beautiful rays, bat fish and the amazing guitar fish (Jimmy Hendrix). Go to the Wet Lab to get close to some romantic seahorses and crazy crabs, but watch your fingers with those critters!
Sea Caves
At the Sea Caves you will discover amazing sea life hiding within the caves including moon jellies, lionfish and moray eels. Head through into The Tunnel, where you will get an amazing view of the sharks, rays and sea life, as they swim over your head.
Jurassic Falls Dinosaur Land
Your pass also includes entry to Jurassic Falls Dinosaur Land. As you explore the lost world of Jurassic Falls, beware there will be dinosaurs at every twist and turn along the winding trail. They will be hiding in the bushes, grazing in the tree tops, and towering above your head, even crocodiles at the bottom of the falls.
Travelling to Skegness Aquarium
Skegness Aquarium is located just past the clock tower on Skegness Seafront. Parking is not available at the Aquarium due to space limitations, but there is ample parking nearby at The Embassy Car park opposite the aquarium and Hildred’s car park is just a five-minute walk away. Use the postcode PE25 3HH in your sat-nav.
Travelling by Train
The nearest train station is Skegness Railway Station which is a 15-minute walk away. The East Midlands Trains service runs a Nottingham to Skegness service every hour from Monday to Saturday, and every two hours on a Sunday. You can connect to this train at Nottingham or Grantham.
