10 Epic Challenges

The Bear Grylls Adventure features 10 epic challenges, giving you the opportunity to know what it’s like to be intrepid explorer Bear Grylls for the day. Take the plunge into the deep dark depths of the diving tank and take a nail-biting dip with sharks, feel the wind beneath your feet during a breath-taking climb along Europe’s highest outdoor free-roam ropes or feel like you are free-falling with the iFly indoor sky diving experience. With most activities situated indoors, there’s no need to worry about the weather.

Shark Dive

Explore the depths of the deep blue sea and put your stamina to the test. Take on the ultimate shark dive experience that gives you the chance to spend 120 nerve-wracking minutes, alongside 1000 tropical fish and get up close with Black Tip Reef Sharks and Cownose Rays. Briefed by the pro dive team, get your gear on and experience life under the sea first-hand, for an unforgettable day out.

Pay a visit to Bear Grylls adventure and you can view the Black Tip Reef Sharks in the aquarium for free. You can also see the insects and tarantulas too, get some refreshments at the café and sit in the explorer truck. You only pay for any activities you choose to partake in.

Outdoor High Ropes

The dizzying heights of the Outdoor High Ropes aren’t for the faint-hearted. As Europe’s highest outdoor free-roam ropes (the equivalent height of a five-storey building!) you’ll need to muster all your courage, balance and bravery to take on 36 obstacles designed to take you out of your comfort zone. Inspired by the Tarzan Military course, you’ll need guts of steel to beat this one.

iFLY Indoor Skydiving

Become a highflyer with the iFLY Indoor Skydiving experience! If you’re looking for an adrenaline-fuelled adventure for all the family to enjoy, the sky’s the limit with the indoor wind tunnel, which gives you the feeling of a free fall time of three skydives! Be the master of balance, find your ‘Bear Grylls energy’, and take on the iFLY challenge!

Fear Zone

Can you hold your nerve? It’s not called the ‘Fear Zone’ for nothing.
Put your mental skills to the test and find all the inner strength you can muster by making your way through the darkened maze. Add creepy crawlies to the mix, and you’re in a whole heap of horror! It’s time to be more like Bear and conquer your fears head-on.

Shooting

Hold your focus and hit your target at the indoor shooting range. Watch demonstrations from the experts and get a chance to take your aim for a 30-minute shooting session with air rifles and air pistols.

Participants must be 10+ years. This activity includes expert instruction and a safety briefing.

Indoor Archery

Learn the art of archery in the Indoor Archery arena. Expert trainers are on hand, giving you tips to help you progress from a novice to a shooting star in no time. Aim for the top of the leader board by honing your concentration skills and landing the target.

Indoor Climb

Inspired by the iconic climbing locations of Fontainebleau and El Capitan, get harnessed, step up to the mark and make your ascent to the summit for 60 minutes of nail-biting adventure. Challenge your way to new heights and take on the toughest terrains with the Indoor Climb experience.

Escape Rooms

Teamwork makes the dream work, and you’ll need all the brainpower and steadiness you can bolster to break your way out of the tricky Escape Rooms. Get creative and start your rescue mission to navigate your team around the explosive mine shaft by solving six unique survival puzzles to escape the abandoned gold mine before your time is up.

Assault Course

Step up to the mark and challenge yourself on the Royal Marines-inspired assault course. With unlimited use of the course, the whole family can test their endurance, strength and agility for as long as they like, so there’s no excuse to not beat Bear’s record of 01:03!

Legoland Discovery Centre Birmingham

There is a great model of The Bear Grylls Adventure on display in Miniland at the Legoland Discovery Centre in Birmingham.

There is a wide selection of food and drinks on offer at The Bear Grylls Adventure, including pizza, nachos, hot dogs, sandwiches and a selection of hot and cold beverages. They have a range of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan choices available.

The Bear Grylls Adventure is located at the National Exhibition Centre, just off the M42 at junction 6. Travelling by Train
