The journey to Go Ape Buxton is an adventure in itself, with scenic routes winding through the stunning Peak District National Park. Perfectly located within walking distance of the historic spa town of Buxton, and less than an hour from Sheffield, you’ll have a full day to explore England’s largest and oldest national park.
Take in some of the region’s best walks, such as Mam Tor and The Great Ridge, both offering breathtaking views across the Peak District. For sweeping views of Buxton, hike up Grin Low to discover Solomon’s Temple, a Victorian folly built on a Bronze Age barrow. You can also delve underground at Poole’s Cavern, one of England’s most impressive limestone show caves and the first “Wonder of the Peak.”

After your adventures, head back into Buxton itself. This elegant spa town is renowned for its Georgian and Victorian architecture, beautiful ornamental gardens, and, of course, its famous thermal springs.
