Be prepared for 2 to 3 hours of intense tree-to-tree obstacles, demanding crossings, and giant zip wires designed to get the adrenaline pumping and the heart thumping. What to Wear & Gear Guidelines

You should wear comfortable outdoor clothes that you don’t mind getting covered in tree bark, sap, or mud. The course is fully outdoors and operates through rain and sunshine alike, so prepare for changeable and wet weather conditions. If a sudden shower rolls in, it simply adds to the wilderness adventure as long as you’re wearing suitable clothing! Your footwear must be sturdy and suitable for the outdoors, meaning closed-toe choices are mandatory for safety. No sandals, slip-on shoes, open toes, or high heels are allowed. A tight pair of climbing gloves is also a great idea.

Located just outside Pickering, Go Ape Dalby Forest can be reached from either the A169 Pickering to Whitby road (turning right at the Fox and Rabbit pub YO18 7NQ) or the A170 via Thornton Le Dale (turning left at the Buck Inn after the traffic lights). Follow the clear highway brown tourist signs for Dalby The Great Yorkshire Forest. Car entry fees apply at the main barrier gates managed via an ANPR cashless system.

Travelling by Train: The nearest railway platform is Malton Station, located approximately 14 miles away from the forest tracks. You can easily plan your rail route and buy advance tickets online via Raileasy.
