Treetop Challenge

The Goliath of high ropes adventures, climb your way around Thetford Forest on the Challenge course and be prepared for 2-3 hours of tree-to-tree obstacles designed to get the adrenaline pumping and the heart thumping. This dual high ropes course lets you choose which obstacles and crossings to tackle.  

Treetop Adventure

Children can take their first steps into the canopy on the Treetop Adventure course complete with a Treetop Adventure Plus extension for older children to really test their limits.

What to Wear

You should wear sensible clothes that you don’t mind getting muddy. The course is outdoors, so you should prepare for changeable and wet weather. If it does rain then it can add to the fun as long as you’re wearing suitable clothing. Your footwear must be sturdy and suitable for the outdoors. No sandals, slip-on shoes, open toes or heels. Gloves are also a good idea.  

Thetford Forest

The long, windy drive deep into the centre of the forest sets the scene for this Go Ape location. This stunning location has loads to offer for both the thrill seekers and the ‘need to get the family out and about seekers’. If you’re one of the former and enjoy going off the beaten bike track then head for the bike trails, there is one which is described as having ‘severe, challenging and extremely difficult features!’. There are also a number of other cycling routes more suited to family riding, plus running and orienteering routes.

Children get a big look in at Thetford Forest, which is famous for its free adventurous play facilities featuring giant swings, pyramids, a treehouse and a Sound Trail.
