Air Trail Tees Barrage is set over 4 levels with over 38 unique challenges for you to conquer. There’s something for everyone, with an exciting assortment of wobbly rope bridges, troublesome tight ropes, crazy cargo nets and swinging stepping stones, all floating high above the River Tees.

The UK’s biggest Sky Trail
Take on the UK’s biggest Sky Trail at Tees Barrage. Dominating the skyline and overlooking the River Tees, Air Trail proudly stands at just over 17 metres high. Perfect for adults and children alike, Air Trail offers a challenge like no other and the Air Tykes course means that even mini explorers can enjoy the ultimate day out.
Walk the Plank Challenge
Ease one foot in front of the other as you take on the mighty walk the plank challenge and whizz along 2 full-length zip rails. There’s so much to explore and fears to conquer, you’ll be back time and time again!
Air Tykes
Mini explorers will love the Air Tykes course, it’s just like Air Trail but on a much smaller scale. Children must be a minimum of 2 years of age and be smaller than 1.2m (4ft) tall to use Air Tykes and must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
Travelling to Air Trail Tees Barrage
Air Trail Tees Barrage is located 10 minutes from the A19. Turn off the A19 onto the A66 signposted Darlington and take the exit signposted Teesside Retail Park. Follow the brown tourist signs to the attraction which is located adjacent to Tees Barrage.
Travelling by Train
The nearest railway station is at Thirsk. There are direct services from Manchester, Leeds, York, Middlesbrough and London. Search for your train tickets using the Raileasy website.
