Black Park Country Park is one of Buckinghamshire’s hidden gems. Go Apes leafy hangout, is set in 530 acres of stunning woodland with a beautiful lake at its heart. With Uxbridge just down the road, there is plenty on offer for those wishing to explore the area and spend the whole day out.

 

Treetop Challenge

Visitors can choose from a Treetop Adventure which is ideal for younger adventurers over 1m tall. Treetop Adventure Plus is a step up from Treetop Adventure aimed at children over 1.2m tall. Visitors over 1.4m tall can take on Black Park’s Treetop Challenge course which offers 90 minutes of high ropes fun.  

Nets Adventure

Experience something completely different when you bounce 30ft atop the forest canopy on the Nets Adventure. It’s brilliant fun for kids and parents alike. If you’d rather keep your feet nearer the ground, take to two wheels and head out on a Forest Segway experience. Complete your day exploring the trails at Black Park Country Park. Bikes are available for hire from the Forest Biking hub.

What to Wear

You should wear sensible clothes that you don’t mind getting muddy. The course is outdoors, so you should prepare for changeable and wet weather. If it does rain then it can add to the fun as long as you’re wearing suitable clothing. Your footwear must be sturdy and suitable for the outdoors. No sandals, slip-on shoes, open toes or heels. Gloves are also a good idea.  

A Family Day Out

There are 500 acres of woodland, heathland and open space to immerse yourself in at Black Park and over 10 miles of well-surfaced trackways that are perfectly suitable for buggies and wheelchairs.  

Travelling to Go Ape Black Park

Go Ape Black Park is located a stone’s throw from Pinewood Studios in South Buckinghamshire it’s jam-packed with family-friendly attractions and activities to get you all outside and having fun. Black Park Country Park is signposted from the A412 between Slough and Iver Heath.  

Travelling by Train

The nearest train station is located at Langley, 3½ miles from Go Ape. Search for your train tickets using Raileasy.
