Gulliver’s Kingdom (also known as Gulliver’s Kingdom Matlock Bath) is a theme park aimed at children aged 2 to 13 in the picturesque Derbyshire town of Matlock Bath.

Great Value Day Out
Gulliver’s pride themselves on providing you with a fun day out which is also excellent value for money. There are a number of Coin Operated Rides at numerous locations within Gulliver’s Kingdom Matlock Bath Theme Park. All of the rides are free to use an unlimited number of times. These are ideal for keeping younger children entertained whilst their elder siblings enjoy some of the bigger rides.
Parking is also free and families are welcome to take their own picnics into the theme park.

Gulliver’s Kingdom offers a wealth of indoor and outdoor playgrounds. These range from Junior Play Towns, Pirate Ships and Interactive Play Zones.
Blast Arena at Gulliver’s Kingdom Matlock Bath
Children aged 6 and over can put their skills to the test with the ultimate indoor attraction. The Blast Arena is a separate attraction to the main theme park and is charged separately. Each session is led by a Blast Arena Commander who guides children through the non-stop activities.

Travelling to Gulliver’s Kingdom Matlock Bath
Gulliver’s Kingdom Matlock Bath is located in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. There are a number of ways to get to Gulliver’s Kingdom. If you are travelling by car, Gulliver’s Kingdom Matlock Bath is between the M1 and the M6. When driving to Gulliver’s Kingdom use the postcode DE4 3PG. If you are on the M1 simply exit Junction 28 and follow the brown tourist signs. If you are approaching on the M6 from the south, take the A38 towards Lichfield, following it north until you see the tourist signposts.
Travelling by Train
The Derby to Matlock train runs through Matlock Bath approximately every 1½ hours Mon-Sat and every 2 hours on a Sunday. Matlock Bath train station is a 10-15 min walk from Gulliver’s Kingdom. Follow the river on your left until you get to the Fishpond pub and take the little path up the hill. See the Raileasy website for details.

Gulliver's Kingdom Matlock Bath History
The site where Gulliver's Kingdom is located in Matlock Bath was acquired by the Phillips family in 1976. Gulliver's Kingdom initially opened to the public as a model village in 1978. In 1980 the Royal Mine Opened, the world's first fully computerised caving visitor attraction. Gulliver's Kingdom Matlock Bath History is noted for its location. Built on the hillside, it provides a unique experience, with many rides being nestled in amongst the trees and travelators provided to aid guests with the steep inclines.

Gulliver's first roller coaster named the Log was opened In 1987 at Gulliver's Kingdom Matlock Bath. The following year, the Log Flume opened. This ride was designed and built entirely in-house. Gullivers now operates ten roller coaster across all their parks.

Gulliver's Kingdom's main rollercoaster was named after a Victorian Switchback rollercoaster ride because the theme park is close to the site where this ride was located. 2 - Log Flume
Located at one of the highest points in the Theme Park, at an anltitude of 629 feet (overlooking the valley some 300 feet below), there's not another log flume in Europe with views like the one at Gulliver's Kingdom. 3 - Dino Falls
A recent addition to Gulliver's Kingdom Matlock Bath is Dino Falls. Acquired from the former Camelot Theme park. These slides take full advantage of the hilly terrain which the Gulliver's Kingdom is located on. With two slides to choose from, hold on tight as you race down the water slides on board your two person dinghy. Both slides are great fun, featuring non-stop twists and turns.
4 - Laser Dodgems
The dodgems are a classic ride and these ones also feature a modern twist. Each car is fitted with a special laser blaster, aim for the competition as you bump and zoom your way around. Its a kids favourite and you can enjoy unlimited goes fully inclusive of your theme park admission.
5 - Pirate Ship
Located at the bottom of the hillside is the Pirate Ship. Offerring great thrills as young riders lose their stomachs.
6 - Log Roller Coaster
Travel above the tree tops on the Log Roller Coaser. A great opportunity for junior thrill-seekers to experience a roller-coaster ride that’s all about the twists, dips and terrific turns.
7 - Tree Top Drop

One of the latest additions to Gulliver's Kingdom Matlock Bath is Crows Nest Quest. A high-ropes adventure that will take you across 4 different levels. Standing 17 metres high this challenge course features more than 20 individual elements designed to test even the bravest buccaneer. Make it to the top and enjoy incredible views of Derwent Valley.
