Rampage Roller Coaster
The BIG Sheep is home to North Devon’s biggest, highest and fastest rollercoaster. At 400m long and 13m high Rampage thrills riders with high-speed twists, turns and drops.
Family Rides
Experience the thrill of flying through the air on The Twister or Jump aboard the train at Eweston Station in the Nursery Barn for a magical family train ride around Swan Lake. Take a tractor safari tour and see the farm’s wildlife.
Anmials at The BIG Sheep
Throughout the year there are cute and cuddly baby animals being born for you to see, it’s the perfect way to sample Devon farming life at the petting farm. They lamb throughout the year so you might even get to witness the magic of a real-life birth. During the summer season, you can visit the Lamb Feeding Show and help by bottle feeding the lambs. You can also cuddle a puppy, meet a newborn lamb, see day-old chicks and more.
Live Sheep Racing
One of the highlights of your visit will be the Sheep Racing. Six sheep take part in the race, each ridden by soft toys in brightly coloured jackets and visitors are invited to place bets on the overall winner. Details of the competitors and numerous silly facts will be announced before the final race.
Little Ones
The BIG Sheep is perfect for your Little ones with an indoor playground and outdoor children’s play areas. There are areas dedicated to under 2’s and under 5’s with petting corners, train rides, tractor safaris, swan pedalos, pony rides and so much more.
All-Weather Fun
At EWEtopia, the large indoor play area, you are guaranteed all-weather fun.
Events and Gigs
There is a wide range of live shows and events taking place at the attraction on their giant stage throughout the year. Events include live music, comedy, Kids shows and more.

Travelling to The Big Sheep
The BIG Sheep is located in the village of Abbotsham, just outside of Bideford, two miles west of the Bideford bridge. Head for Bideford and follow the brown tourist signs, the recommended route is via the A39 Atlantic Highway.
Travelling by Train
The nearest train station is Barnstaple, from there you can take a taxi to the park. See the Raileasy website for details.

The attraction has its own campsite within walking distance of the theme park, Adventure Camping is just a five-minute drive to Westward Ho! beach and a 15-minute drive to Barnstaple town centre. It’s a massive 35 acres site, so there’s plenty of room to play games, take strolls around the lake or light up a barbecue or firepit to chat with pals. Plus the pub is only a short walk away.
