Marwell Wildlife is a conservation charity established in 1972 which owns and operates Marwell Zoo. There are hundreds of animals on show, including Rothchild’s giraffes, white rhinos, Amur tigers, Humboldt penguins, red pandas, snow leopards and all three species of zebra (to name a few)!

Adventure Playgrounds

Under 12’s can sway in the breeze at the Life among the Trees park and youngsters will love waddling like penguins at Penguin Cove, ideal for those under 6. the Okapi playground is equipped with climbing nets, basket swing and slides and net tunnels. The bespoke playground was designed to be inclusive and also features a wheelchair accessible roundabout and an accessible slide, so all children can safely play.

Travelling to Marwell Zoo
Marwell Zoo is conveniently situated, only 8 miles from Winchester. Use the postcode SO21 1JH or follow the brown tourist signs to the attraction.
Travelling by Train
The nearest train stations to are Southampton Airport Parkway (7 miles), Eastleigh (5 miles) and Winchester (8 miles). Either a taxi or bus will be required on arrival to these stations to transport you to the attraction. Visit the Raileasy website for your tickets.
