Pleasure Beach Rides
Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach is a historic pleasure park located on the town’s seafront that offers a mixture of traditional and high-octane thrill rides. The fun park first opened in 1909 and has been operating ever since. The largest and most popular ride is the Roller Coaster which was built on the site in 1932.

Fun Family Day Out
In addition to the Roller Coaster, there are a number of other rides at the park, as well as children’s entertainment, amusement arcades, catering facilities, sweet shops and ice cream parlours. Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach offers an exciting mix of white-knuckle and child-friendly rides. It’s the ideal choice for a fun family day out.
Retro Rides
A number of retro rides are located at the Pleasure Beach, the most famous of which is the Roller Coaster, a Scenic Railway model which was constructed in 1932. Other retro rides include the Gallopers, Pirate Ship and Twister.
Thrill Rides
Thrill-seekers will be entertained as they spin on Disko, experience the Sky Drop and plunge down the log flume. Additional thrill rides include Reverse Time and Go-Karts.

Family Rides
Families are well catered for at Pleasure Beach Great Yarmouth. Family rides and attractions include a 4D cinema, Fun Factory and the Haunted Hotel Ghost Train ride.

Childrens Rides
Children can enjoy the Freefall tower, Cups and Saucers and Bonanza horse ride amongst others.
The Jurassic Gardens
Located between the Pleasure Beach Gardens and the Log Flume is The Jurassic Gardens dinosaur ride. Here guests can ride a jeep through the gardens populated with dinosaurs, including the enormous T-Rex. Located adjacent to the Jurassic Gardens are the Gyrospheres. Climb inside one of these inflatable balls and attempt to walk on water.
Pleasure Beach Gardens
Just a short walk from Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach, is The Pleasure Beach Gardens, the perfect place to take a few moments to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the Pleasure Beach. Sara’s Tea Rooms serve a full range of hot and cold meals throughout the day. Alternatively, hot dogs, ice cream, candy floss and hot and cold drinks to takeaway are available at the Gardens Kiosk.
The Pleasure Beach Gardens feature an Adventure Golf Course and Junior Driving School as well as many more coin-operated attractions.
With large grassed areas, it is also an ideal place for groups to enjoy their picnic.
Food and Drink
Meals and snacks are served all day at The Pleasure Beach Food Court. Anyone with a sweet tooth will be delighted by Pleasure Beach’s Rock Shop and its array of sweets and chocolate. There is also the candyfloss stall and the Ice Cream Parlour. The Pleasure Beach Inn is a fully licensed bar, where food is also served.
