The Correct Answer is Revolution @ Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Revolution at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, formerly Irn Bru Revolution, is an Arrow Development shuttle roller coaster. The Thrill Ride uses an Electric Motor and Spring Tension Launch mechanism to propel the ride.

Revolution was Europe’s first fully looping roller coaster, the ride consists of two raised sections of track with a vertical loop in the centre. The roller coaster train is launched off the first raised platform, into the loop, and up onto the second platform, where it repeats the process in reverse. As a result of the design, riders are required to climb a series of stairs to get to the loading station. The Correct Answer is Nemesis @ Alton Towers

Back in the 1990s, most designers were building big, plain roller coasters. John Wardley wanted to create something cleverer, better, and more dramatic. He decided to make Nemesis, at Alton Towers Resort, Europe’s first inverted roller coaster, with a truly thrilling storyline to go with it. For most people, the scariest bit of Nemesis is when you do the first drop and see the jagged rocks right under your feet. Then, immediately after, you’re spun upside-down with the soles of your feet facing the sky.

The Correct Answer is Infusion @ Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Infusion was relocated from Pleasureland Southport, Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s sister park when Pleasureland closed in 2005. Previously known as the Traumatizer, the ride was dismantled and moved to its current location where it reopened in 2007.

Infusion was built and manufactured by Vekoma Rides, it is one of many standard model SLC’s (Suspended Looping Coasters) found in amusement parks around the world. The main difference with Infusion is that it is built entirely over water. Riders are seated in eight rows of two for a total of 16 passengers per train with 2 trains being operated at any given time. Most Vekoma SLC’s are capable of running up to 10 cars on each train, however, Vekoma modelled Infusion with only 8 cars to make the ride both smoother and faster. Please Scroll Down for the Next Question

The Correct Answer is The Smiler @ Alton Towers

The Smiler at Alton Towers features a World Record-Breaking 14 inversions. The thrilling ride is split into two halves, the first half immediately starts with a heartline roll (inversion 1) before the train ascends a regular chain lift hill.

Upon reaching the top of the lift hill, the train drops into a 180-degree right turn before banking into a downward corkscrew (inversion 2). The train navigates its way through two consecutive dive loops (inversions 3 & 4) before travelling over a trimmed airtime hill into the ride’s largest element, a Batwing, which consists of a dive loop and a sidewinder (inversions 5 and 6). The Batwing is closely followed by another corkscrew (inversion 7) before reaching the midway point of the ride.

The second half of the ride commences with a vertical lift-hill, which both helps to save on space and increases the thrill level. At the top of the lift hill, riders are presented with a lovely view of the Towers themselves and the rest of the Theme Park. The train descends, 180-degrees to the left, banking into a downward corkscrew (inversion 8). Riders then navigate through a sea serpent roll (inversions 9 & 10), followed by a short drop into an airtime hill. Following the airtime hill, the train dives into a cobra roll (inversions 11 & 12) before twisting through a double corkscrew (inversions 13 & 14), turning left into the final brake run.
